The AMWP92 is a self-propelled vertical mast lift with an articulating jib, built for work that a scissor lift cannot reach and a boom lift cannot fit into. It drives through a standard doorway on a 1.0 m wide chassis, raises the platform to 9.2 m, and the jib adds 3 m of horizontal reach with 130 degrees of movement, so the operator works over a machine, a racking row or a production line instead of only in front of it.
Depending on the market, this class of machine is also sold as a single man lift, a personnel lift or a compact aerial work platform. AMWP92 is the model code FORU uses for this configuration: a 9.2 m mast with an articulating jib on a self-propelled chassis.
What the AMWP92 does
The mast lifts vertically rather than on a boom, which keeps the machine narrow and its footprint small. The jib at the top of the mast then takes the platform out and over an obstruction, and the turret rotates 345 degrees, so one setup position covers a wide arc of work instead of forcing the machine to be repositioned for every task.

If the work is directly above open floor and the deck needs to carry tools and materials, a scissor lift is simpler and cheaper. If the platform has to travel far out over an obstruction at height, a boom lift is the answer. The AMWP92 is the machine for high work in a tight aisle where a small amount of reach decides whether the job can be done at all.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the AMWP92 and a scissor lift of the same height?
The mast lift is narrower and lighter, and the jib gives it 3 m of horizontal reach and 7.89 m of up-and-over clearance. A scissor lift of similar height carries more weight on a larger deck but has to stand directly under the work point, so it cannot reach over racking or machinery.
Can the AMWP92 be used outdoors?
It is designed for indoor work on firm, level ground, and it is rated to a maximum working slope of plus or minus 2.5 degrees in both directions. For outdoor sites on uneven ground, a rough-terrain boom lift is the more suitable machine.
What power supply does it need?
It runs on a 24 V / 200 Ah battery with a 24 V / 30 A charger, driving a 24 V / 0.9 kW drive motor and a 24 V / 3 kW lifting motor. Charging is from a standard mains supply on site, and no exhaust ventilation is required.
