An articulated boom lift is the machine to choose when the work point sits up and behind something. The boom rises vertically and then folds at the knuckle, which lets the platform reach over a machine, a racking row or a pipe bridge and drop down behind it. This range covers working heights from 16.6 m to 22 m, in electric lithium and diesel versions that share the same chassis and dimensions.

Power options
- Electric lithium (MPA series). 48 V lithium battery pack, quiet running and no exhaust fumes. Suited to warehouses, stations, halls and any work inside an occupied building.
- Diesel (ABL series). Kubota 36 kW engine for outdoor sites with long shifts and rough ground. The ABL22D uses the same chassis as the MPA22E, so reach and capacity are identical.
- Telescopic booms. A straight telescopic range is also available in 22.9 m, 24.4 m and 28.8 m working heights for maximum height and radius over open ground.

Articulated or telescopic boom lift: which one do I need?
Choose articulated when the platform has to reach over an obstacle or work close in. Choose telescopic when you need maximum height and horizontal reach in a straight line over open ground.
What is up-and-over clearance?
It is the height of the obstacle the boom can pass over with the platform still able to reach behind it. The 22 m model clears 8.54 m, which covers most racking rows, pipe bridges and machine lines.
Can a boom lift work indoors?
Yes. The electric lithium models produce no exhaust fumes and run quietly. Check your floor loading capacity and the door height before ordering; the stowed height is 2.32 m on the 16 m and 18 m models and 2.53 m on the 20 m and 22 m models.
